Do you want to strengthen your connection with Allah ﷻ and make a meaningful impact at work and in your community?

Are you looking to build real connections with like-minded Muslims who are serving the Ummah and striving to leave a legacy?

LEAP is the Muslim Professional Development Programme. Whether you work in education, healthcare, finance, tech, or the third sector, this programme equips you to lead with purpose, authenticity, and faith.

What Makes LEAP Unique?

  1. Faith-centred personal and professional development
Delivered by qualified scholars and experienced facilitators, LEAP offers a balanced and contextualised understanding of Islam — helping you strengthen your deen while building the mindset and skills of a values-based leader.
  2. Fortnightly Hybrid Sessions (September–July)
Join us on Wednesday evenings, 6–8pm  at a Waterloo, Central London venue. All sessions are hybrid, so if you can’t attend in person, you’ll still receive the recording and session slides after each class.
  3. Prophetic Leadership Retreat
Experience a powerful weekend retreat focused on the leadership of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This is an opportunity to reflect, reset, and connect with like-minded peers through workshops and adventure.
  4. Brecon Beacons Hike
There is no greater opportunity to develop your leadership potential than being outdoors, navigating the physical challenge of a hike by developing teamwork, resilience and problem-solving.
  5. An International Challenge
End your LEAP  journey with an unforgettable overseas challenge: explore history, food, and culture while raising funds for a legacy charity project.

Why Join LEAP?

Not every leader stands at a podium — but every believer is called to lead: in their character, in their choices, and in how they serve others.

If you’re longing to deepen your relationship with Allah ﷻ, to live with greater purpose, and to surround yourself with a community of like-minded Muslims on the same path, LEAP was developed for you.

This is more than just a leadership programme.
It’s a journey of the heart, mind, and soul.

With the enormous success of our two cohort in 2024/25 and 2025/26, demand for LEAP has never been greater.

Spaces are limited and offered on a first come, first serve basis.

Location: Islamic Relief UK Offices in Waterloo

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Will I miss out if I am unable to attend some of the sessions?

We understand that life and work commitments can sometimes clash with scheduled sessions. While we encourage you to attend all sessions live to get the full benefit and connect with your cohort, we’ve got you covered if you miss one as all core workshops will be recorded and made available for you to catch up at your own pace.

2. I do not work currently (and/or am studying full time) – can I still join the programme?

Absolutely! You do not need to be in full time employment to join. The programme is designed for Muslim professionals who are 18+ at any stage – whether you are:

  • Currently working
  • Between jobs
  • Running a business
  • A full time student preparing for a career

The key is a willingness to grow, develop your leadership skills and connect with like-minded network

No. Whether you’re early in your career, mid-level, or in senior management, you’ll gain valuable skills, perspective and networks that are relevant to your journey regardless of sector or industry experience

4. Are there any exams or assessments?

There are no formal exams or graded assessments on LEAP. The programme is designed to support your personal, spiritual and professional development through interactive learning, discussion, reflection and practical experiences, rather than traditional testing.

Participants are expected to attend the fortnightly live sessions (meeting the minimum attendance requirement), actively engage in discussions and activities, and demonstrate their learning through ongoing participation and reflective practice throughout the programme.

As a culmination of the programme, all participants are required to complete a mandatory reflective assignment, demonstrating how they have applied the knowledge, leadership principles and personal insights gained through LEAP within their own professional and personal context.

5. When does the programme start?

The first session starts on Wednesday 9th September 2026 with a meet and greet on the 2nd September. The programme will run until July 2027. There will be a pause during Ramadan to allow participants to focus on worship and personal commitments, and sessions will resume afterwards.
